Gods of the Aegean Sea is one of the seven Cult of Kosmos branches in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. To complete the Cult of Kosmos questline, you’ll need to kill all the cultists of that branch along with all the others. This cult branch isn’t called Gods of the Aegean Sea for nothing because its members can be found aboard ships at sea. So, you’ll need to fight some ships to kill the cultists of this branch. This is how you can find all the Golds of the Aegean Sea cultists in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

Asterion
Asterion is the easiest of the Gods of the Aegean Sea cultists to find. Completing the “Serpent’s Lair” main story quest is all that’s required to reveal this cultist. He’s among the cultists automatically unlocked and revealed on the Cult of Kosmos list. So, select Asterion on the list to mark his position on the map. Then jump on your ship to take him out in the sea around the Skyros and Andros Greek islands.
Sokos
To kill Sokos, you must weaken nation power on Melon, in the Obsidian Islands, to trigger a conquest battle there. Killing guards and burning all the war supplies at Trypiti Fort in Melon should lower nation power there enough to trigger a naval conquest battle. Go to the blue Athens battle banner on Melos to fight the conquest naval battle on the side of the Athenians. This will reveal Sokos and his ship on the map for you to eliminate in the naval battle.
Octopus
Killing Sokos leaves a clue revealing the Octopus cultist on the map. So, you only need to eliminate Sokos to find this cultist member. She’s usually sailing a on ship in a stretch of sea south of Ash Hills island and Thera.
Melanthos
To find the clue that reveals Melanthos, kill the leader of Messara in Gortyn. Head to Gortyn, where you can complete a “Gortyn out of Hand” quest by speaking to one of the civilians in that city. That quest highlights the location of the Messara leader for you to kill him. Killing that Messara leader will reveal that Melanthos is aboard a ship just off the western coast of Messara.
Mytilenian Shark
Finding this Gods of the Aegean Sea cultist is a little tricker as the clue for revealing his location is underwater. To find that clue, you’ll need to sail to the Palace of Amphitrite underwater location northeast of Thera, shown on the map image directly below. Jump off your ship and swim down to the shipwreck right beside the palace ruins. You’ll find the clue that reveals the Mytilenian Shark by opening one of the shipwreck’s chests. Be careful of the sharks while you’re down there!
You can then select to mark Mytilenian Shark’s ship location on the map. Mytilenian Shark sails in the sea south of Samos. He has a base level of 32, which makes him a cultist you can probably kill before completing the family questline in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
Hydra
Hydra is the Sage of the Gods of the Aegean Sea branch revealed on the southwestern corner of the map when you’ve killed all five cultists above. He’s a base level 50 cultist that’s probably best left until you’ve completed the Gates of Atlantis questline. It would also be a good idea to upgrade your ship before attempting to blow Hydra out of the water.
Killing all cultists of Gods of the Aegean Sea Cult of Kosmos will reward you with legendary gear, the best of which is the Gorgoneion Xiphos sword obtained from Hydra. You’ll also be one step closer to defeating the Cult of Kosmos in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey after eliminating that branch. Finish off all the other branches to find the big boss of the Cult of Kosmos.
