There are six races in the Roblox Blox Fruits game, each of which has different combat buffs across four version levels. Rabbit, Cyborg, Human, Angel, Shark, and Ghoul are the six races in Blox Fruits. The race you start with in Blox Fruits is random, but there are ways you can change it. Many players will likely want to change races that better suit their preferred playing builds at some point. This is how you change your Blox Fruits race.

Purchase a Race Re-Roll
If you can’t wait to change your Blox Fruits race, you can purchase a Race Re-roll from the outset. A Race Re-roll is something you can purchase from the Blox Fruits shop. This item randomly changes your race to the Angel, Human, Shark, or Rabbit.
To purchase a Race Re-roll, click Menu > Shop in Blox Fruits. You can purchase the Race Re-roll from there. However, you’ll need 90 Robux to buy that item. This Roblox guide page explains how players can get Robux with in-game purchases and other methods.

Speak to Tort (When You Have Enough Fragments)
Tort is an NPC who rerolls (changes) your Blox Fruits race to Human, Rabbit, Angel, or Shark. You can find Tort in the Café on the Kingdom of Rose within the Second Sea map. However, Tort charges 3,000 fragments for changing your race. He won’t speak if you don’t have the 3,000 fragments required for a reroll.
The best way to obtain 3,000 fragments in the Second Sea is to complete standard raids. Raids are combat events you can start from Hot and Cold Island for which you can receive up to 1,000 fragments upon completion. However, you’ll also need to be at level 1,100 to host raids. When you’ve amassed 3,000 or more fragments, speak to Tort in the Café. He’ll offer to reroll your race to a random one. Select “Trade” to change your race, but you don’t get to choose.

Purchase the Ghoul Quest From Experimic
Ghoul is one of two unique races you can’t obtain with a random reroll from Tort. You can only change to Ghoul by purchasing it from Experimic on the Cursed Ship off Graveyard Island. First, I recommend leveling up your character to about 1,250, the minimum level of enemies on Cursed Ship.
Then, walk inside the Cursed Ship near Graveyard Island. There you’ll need to kill enemies to amass Ectoplasm from them. You’ll need 100 Ectoplasm to purchase the Ghoul. Speak to Guanshiem on Cursed Ship to find out how much Ectoplasm you have.
You’ll also need the Hellfire Torch item to change to Ghoul. To obtain that item, you must kill the Cursed Captain who randomly drops it. Cursed Captain is a level 1,325 raid boss who spawns at about hourly intervals in the Cursed Ship. You’ll probably need to fight and kill Cursed Captain a few times until he drops the Hellfire Torch.

When you’ve obtained the Hellfire Torch, click or tap the box for holding that item. Then, walk down to the kitchen area on the Cursed Ship where you’ll find Experimic. Speak to Experimic and select the “Trade” option to change to the Ghoul Blox Fruits race.

Complete the Cyborg Puzzle
Cyborg is another more unique Blox Fruit race. To change to Cyborg, you must obtain a Fist of Darkness for Law (or Order) raids at Hot and Cold. You can get the First of Darkness by defeating Sea Beasts in the Second Sea, which randomly drop that item (the drop chance is about 2.5 percent).
Next, start a Law Raid at Hot and Cold when holding your Fist of Darkness item. This KeenGamer guide tells you how players can start Law Raids in Blox Fruits. Starting a Law Raid with that item inserts the Fist of Darkness into the machine. This enables you to obtain a Core Brain (random drop) by defeating the Order raid boss, which unlocks a staircase to an NPC from which you can purchase the Cyborg Blox Fruits race for 2,500 fragments.

If you’re not entirely satisfied with your Blox Fruits race, you can change it to a random alternative, Cyborg, or Ghoul as outlined above. However, I recommend sticking with your current race and leveling it up to version two or three in the Second Sea first. The new buffs and abilities you get from upgrading a race to versions two and three will enhance it in various ways.
