The official release date for Zenless Zone Zero, the next title from gacha game giant MiHoyo (Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail) has just been confirmed. The news was confirmed by Hoyoverse themselves on the ZZZ official Twitter (now X) account.
Zenless Zone Zero is releasing on all platforms on July 4th 2024. This release will include mobile – iOS and Android – as well as PC, and, most surprisingly, PS5. To commemorate the announcement, we also have a new character trailer for Lycaon, one of Zenless Zone Zero’s standard S-Rank Agents, to enjoy.
In addition, players can also begin partaking in the Stock Up web event to obtain various rewards and items before the official release. By partaking, Proxies looking to get a head start have a chance to obtain the A-Rank W-EngineL Slice of Time, three Boopons, and several A-Rank Drive Discs. This web event is similar to the ones held for Honkai: Star Rail and the recently released Wuthering Waves.
We’ve known about the release date for some time now after the “Coming Soon” tag for Zenless Zone Zero on the Apple App Store was changed to “July 4th” several weeks ago, however, this is the first time a date has been addressed directly by Hoyoverse.
Additionally, many will be thrilled to see a simultaneous PS5 release with PC and mobile. While both Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail are also on PS5, the latter had to wait several months after the PC and mobile release to be playable, causing them to miss out on several beginner banners and events. According to this, Zenless Zone Zero will face no such threat and players of all platforms will be able to get in on the fun together on July 4th.
Zenless Zone Zero is a new rogue-lite RPG dungeon crawler with gacha elements where you, as a Proxy, command a team of three unique Agents as they dive into the deadly world of Hollows in search of gilded treasure and tough foes. The game has a very unique art style as well as a focus on switching between your various units to parry enemy attacks at the right moment.
