If you play Watch Dogs: Legion and like Assassin’s Creed, then you’ll like the new update that’s coming to the game very soon. Ubisoft is the maker behind these two popular games, and for the first time, they are getting a crossover. A new trailer has announced that Assassin’s Creed will be coming to Watch Dogs: Legion in the latest update, which drops on August 24.

The trailer reveals a new character, Darcy, who is a modern-day assassin from the Assassin’s Brotherhood. If you play Watch Dogs: Legion and have the season pass, then you’ll get the chance to play her. The trailer showcases some promising gameplay as Darcy, who sneaks across rooftops and stealthily takes out enemies with the famous hand blade weapon. Expect to experience some classic Assassin’s Creed gameplay. You’ll also get some new missions, for the game’s story and online multiplayer. As Darcy, you’ll team up with DedSec to “fight for freedom”, according to Darcy’s description on the official Ubisoft website.

It’s important to note that you can only play as Darcy if you have the Watch Dogs: Legion season pass. If you don’t, you’ll still have access to lots of other new content coming with the update.

If you don’t yet have the season pass and want to experience everything the game has to offer, now is a good time. The Microsoft Store currently has a sale on, with the normal price significantly reduced. The official Ubisoft store also has the season pass available at a reduced price. The sale is only for a limited time, so if you want to get access to bonus characters and missions in Watch Dogs: Legion, as well as access to the original Watch Dogs Complete Edition, it’s something to consider. If you don’t currently own Watch Dogs: Legion and are thinking about getting it, there are several editions that contain the base game as well as bonus content such as the season pass.
