The Amazing Digital Circus, an indie animation created by Gooseworx, has reached over 100 million views since its pilot release on YouTube. Produced by the indie studio, Glitch Productions, The Amazing Digital Circus released it’s pilot in hopes of getting funded for a complete show. Glitch is the producer for multiple indie projects such as Murder Drones. The Digital Circus pilot released on October 13th, 2023. Reaching a substantial amount of views in exactly 4 weeks. Funding for the show is currently through the sales of its merchandise, according to the Glitch Prod channel. However, after the reveal of 100 million views, Glitch officially posted a statement quoting “There will be more Digital Circus“. Thus, making it the show’s first official greenlight.

The Amazing Digital Circus is the story of a group of characters being trapped in a virtual reality. With the appearance of our protagonist, Pomni, she attempts to explore her surroundings in hopes of finding an exit. Join us as we meet new characters and learn their stories as we adventure into the lives of this amazing digital circus! The show does an incredible job with it’s character designs, often referencing classic childhood toys. You may also notice some iconic voices in the show. Featuring Lizzie Freeman as Pomni, Michael Kovach as Jax, and many other amazing voice actors
History in the Making
Over the years, an abundance of indie animations have released and gaining an insane amount of popularity. With productions from Vivziepop to this year’s Studio Heartbreak’s announcement of The Lovers, it’s clear to say that indie animation has been making a rise in history. Though, this is the first time an indie animation pilot has reached over 100 million views, especially with only a month since its launch. Many fans are excited about what’s next for the series. As the fandom grows, we hope that the show continues to gain the support it deserves.
