Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning was one of those games that never really reached the heights it should have done, but THQ Nordic are breathing new life into this epic fantasy and giving it the second chance it deserves. Last month, they revealed that they would be releasing a remaster of the game called Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, and have recently announced the official release date and the unexpected news of an expansion.
Ever since the news broke of a remaster, fans have been waiting patiently for a release date. Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning will include the two add-ons from the original game (Teeth of Naros and Legend of Dead Kel), but that’s not all. THQ Nordic revealed that they are expanding on the original game with a brand new DLC in 2021 entitled Fatesworn. Their announcement gathered an outpouring of support from fans online who welcomed the unexpected news and expressed their excitement at more Amalur content in the future. As of yet, there are no details on what the new add-on might contain.
