Glitch Games have announced today that the official release date of their upcoming title, Veritas is set for the 12th of February, 2020.
Described as a first-person psychological sci-fi mystery game, it will be arriving for PC, Mac, Android and iOS. It has also been announced that people that sign-up to the Discord channel will be able to play the free demo immediately.
One of the interesting features this game will have is the implementation of what is being called a “Glitch Camera” which will apparently let you take photos and write notes on them, as opposed to having to write them down on a notepad on your desk.
The game’s story revolves around the protagonist, who awoke without recollection of what happened previously after agreeing to participate in an experiment at the mysterious Veritas Industries. While making your way out, you can only hope to make sense of everything that’s happened around you.
We’ve always been fascinated by the idea that if you’re no more than a product of your own memories then what would happen if we took them away…
Who would you trust if you couldn’t trust yourself?
Are you even still you?

The trailer shows some of the puzzle mechanics, as well as a little use of the Glitch Camera, the implemented system that you’ll be able to use to keep track of clues and ideas.
