According to a tweet put out by For the King's publisher and developer IronOak Games, their popular Steam Early Access title is getting a full release in April of this year and is slated to be released on Xbox One, Playstation 4, and Nintendo Switch in 2019. This is due to the help they've received by their recent partnership with Curve Digital, the UK publisher of such games as Bomber Crew and Smoke & Sacrifice.
Their tweet stated the following:
We're super thrilled to announce our partnership with CurveDigital to bring For The King out of Early Access on PC in early April and onto consoles early 2019. In addition, get ready for an all new adventure available at launch!
This news also brings with it the announcement that fans will receive an "all new adventure available at launch." What exactly will this entail? Will the game feature new and innovative features to revitalize the tabletop adventure genre? Will this be some kind of in-depth cross-platform feature that connects the console and PC releases? Maybe, but we will have to wait and see once the game gets its full release in April and subsequent console releases next year.
