Empyrion Galactic Survival v1.7 Update Brings Big Changes

Eleon Game Studios just rolled out the Empyrion Galactic Survival v1.7 update. The voxel-based indie game has just expanded with a ton of new content for players to mess around with. The developers say that with community help, over 300 bugs have been fixed in just the last several months. However, since that’s not what you’re here for, let’s jump right into the major details of this update. The developers have added nearly 100 new ships & stations into the game (with help from the community), and satellite hacking is now fully functional.

The Emyprion Galactic Survival v1.7 update also dropped a new decoration system into the game. Alongside it are 200+ new assets. Examples of the new system can be checked out on three special demo worlds within the game. Players have also finally gained the ability to crouch. Meanwhile, harvestable plants got an overhaul along with new and improved models.

Eleon Game Studios also updated the medical and status effects system. A major change here is that you can now slow down a disease’s progression using new items that don’t heal it completely. If you have such an item, it can buy you more time to get what you need to fully cure yourself. Some other changes added in the Emyprion Galactic Survival v1.7 update include new water and grass visual effects. Furthermore, AI pathfinding has also been improved this time around.

This isn’t the first major update Empyrion Galactic Survival has received this year. An earlier 2021 update added the Brotherhood of Farr faction to the game, along with new vessels and points of interest. For full details on the latest Empyrion Galactic Survival v1.7 update, check out the full changelog.
