With the recent release of Yinlin, a dashing character whose arrival is anticipated by everyone who is currently playing Wuthering Waves, fans have been eagerly waiting to pull for her in her Character Event Convene, and once they get her, they proceed to try and properly build her to prepare for many trials and combat within Wuthering Waves. However, gathering all the materials for Yinlin might get tricky, as the game does not explicitly state where to get the resources needed.
With that in mind, this Wuthering Waves guide will aid you in looking for Yinlin’s materials to ensure that you can upgrade her to the maximum Level. This includes where you can find Group Abomination Tacet Core, which is accessible from one of the Overlord-Class enemies in the overworld, Coriolus, the Ascension Material for Yinlin, and lastly, the Whisperin Core, one of the drops that you might find from the enemies within Wuthering Waves. Let’s begin.
Where to Find Group Abomination Tacet Core for Yinlin
The first and foremost item that Yinlin needs is her Resonator’s Ascension item, the Group Abomination Tacet Core. To get this item, you first must defeat Mech Abomination, an Overlord-Class Tacet Discord that roams the Court of Savantae Ruins area within the Whining Aix’s Mire. However, to access this general area, it is wise to clear out some of the World Quests first before tackling the Mech Abomination, as you need guidance to reach the area by unlocking the surrounding Resonance Nexuses.
Mech Abomination’s Location.
To defeat the Mech Abomination, you need to tread carefully, and it is wise not to bring an Electro DPS character such as Calcharo here, as the monster has increased resistance against Electro damage, though Yinlin herself is still one of the best off-field DPS for your team. Once you set up the characters, the next thing to watch out for will be Mech Abomination’s combo attacks, as this attack can hurt your characters if you try to interrupt its attacks by launching an attack of your own.
The other thing that is also worthy to be careful about is its ability to grab you. The Mech Abomination will utilize its gigantic left hand to do this, and this attack cannot be parried or blocked with Jianxin’s Resonance Skill. Instead, once you see Mech Abomination starting its wind-up phase for the grab attack, move out of the way before its hand can reach you.
Once you manage to defeat the Mech Abomination, you can get the Group Abomination Tacet Core as your reward. Depending on your Union Level, the yield can go from 1 to 4 Tacet Cores per run. To get Yinlin to Level 90, you will need 46 Group Abomination Tacet Cores.

Where to Find Coriolus for Yinlin
The next important material that you must gather for Yinlin in Wuthering Waves is Coriolus, a type of flower that serves as the main bulk of Ascending a Resonator. Gathering this material is quite easy, as you don’t need to battle a foe or Overlord-Class enemies to earn them; you just need to search for this Ascension material in the open world.
For Coriolus specifically, you can find this flower scattering around the Dim Forest region, where you navigate the Great Banyan during a World Quest (if you have already done that), and this area is also known because it hosts the Feilian Beringal.
When looking out for Coriolus, the marker for this flower is that they will spawn on large tree trunks across the Dim Forest area, meaning that you should focus your attention on that instead of looking for Coriolus on the soil or any other properties. To get Yinlin to Level 90, you will need a whopping 60 Coriolus, which means that you need to wait at the very least three days before you can get that number, as the overworld in Wuthering Waves currently only has approximately 25 of them at any given time.

Where to Find Whisperin Cores for Yinlin
Lastly, another crucial material that Yinlin needs is the Whisperin Cores, a Resonance Material that serves many purposes, one of them being Ascending the Resonators.
Fortunately, unlike the previous two materials which require all players to search the flowers and/or defeat a specific enemy, finding Whisperin Cores in Wuthering Waves is not tricky, since you can practically defeat most enemies (except for the human enemies) in the game and have the chance to receive a drop from them. However, it might get tricky to find the correct enemies to kill, so I have prepared the full list of the enemies that can drop MF Whisperin Cores below, as you can see here:

Keep in mind that these enemies are scattered across many regions of Wuthering Waves‘ first nation, Jinzhou, so the only way I can provide guidance for finding Whisperin Cores is to fight any monster you encounter while deliberately trying to dodge the human enemies, as they drop a different Resonance Material.
To fully Ascend Yinlin to Level 90, you will need 4 LF Whispering Cores, 12 MF Whispering Cores, 12 HF Whispering Cores, and 4 FF Whisperin Cores. Apart from killing those enemies to earn the Whisperin Cores, you can also use the Synthesizer in Jinzhou to upgrade the lower-level materials into better-quality materials, which requires you to spend 3 lower-quality Whisperin Cores to produce a greater Whisperin Core.
