1.20. Coffee and Cookies Puzzle

Suns Available: 1

The twentieth puzzle in Summer Unpacked is about object placement. This is probably one of the most difficult puzzles to solve in Summer Unpacked, mainly because the solution is not very clear. However, we do now have one! Special thanks and credit goes to Yetichan who kindly provided the solution in the comments.

1.20.1. Explaining the Coffee-and-Cookies Puzzle

This puzzle involves putting a series of objects in the correct position on a 16-grid setting. Initially, there’s a coffee pot and sugar bowl in opposite corners, as well as two different colored saucers. You must correctly position the other items, including two coffee cups, two drinking glasses, and two cookies.

The coffee pot, sugar bowl, and saucers cannot be moved from their position. Apart from moving objects around, you cannot interact with any of the objects to change their position or status, like in some other puzzles.

All the objects must be fixed on the grid in the set positions. You cannot merge any objects.

  3. Place the red-heart cookie to the right of the sugar bowl and the blue-heart cookie directly above the sugar bowl.
  4. Place the red-decorated glass of water directly below the coffee pot and the blue-decorated glass of water to the left of the coffee pot.

As a result, all the placeable items should go diagonally across the dark squares in a straight line side-by-side, with the blue items on the left and red items on the right, from left-to-right being cookie > cup > glass.

Thank you for this guide! I figured out the coffee and cookie puzzle. The solution that worked for me after putting the coffee in the pot and the sugar in the bowl was to put the cups on the matching saucers, then put the matching cookie to the bottom left of each, and the matching water to the top right

Thank you very much! I’ve been stuck on this one puzzle for ages and it was doing my head in, so I’m very grateful for your response. I’ll update the guide with the solution. Is it okay if I use your name to credit you in this guide? I don’t want people thinking I solved it on my own.
