In order to get your hands on the Void Armor, there’s a few stages to go through first. You didn’t think it would come that easy did you?
- Find The Monolith in The Eastern Wind, Rhom.
- Find the solution to the floor plate puzzle behind The Monolith.
- Use the solution to solve the floor plate puzzle and head inside The Monolith.
- Use 15x Lumenite Crystals to craft your prize.
With that quick overview done and dusted, let’s get into the details!
The Void Armor Is Inside The Monolith
The Void Armor is housed inside The Monolith. If you have passed through this area already, it will be a fast travel destination in The Eastern Wind of Rhom. If not, you will find it after the first Buri Tribesmen settlement. Check out the images below for clarity.
The Monolith checkpoint stone can be seen from here. We’re currently at the back of the first Buri settlement from Rhom’s initial starting point. Take note of the… cooking slab.
Smack dab in the centre of the Eastern Wind area of Rhom
Once you arrive at The Monolith, be sure to clear out the area. You will need some peace and quiet to solve the floor plate puzzle. Solving this puzzle will reward you with the Void Armor fairly instantaneously. Your starting plate will be one of the four around the main ornate floor tile. You can’t miss it.

We’ll come back to our ornate plate in just a moment. First, we must find the solution. With The Monolith directly in front of you, head down the right, which leads to the rear of the building. Then, as if heading back the way you came, look for a ruined wall to your left. This wall has the key to obtaining the Void Armor Unfortunately, our dear readers will have to put a bit of work in for this one. The markings on the wall will differ between one player and the next!
Here is where the puzzle solution lies. The sequence of symbols will be different for each player.
Be sure to write them down or take a screenshot. These markings correlate with those on our ornate floor tile from earlier. Once you have them down, head back to the ornate floor tile. You will soon see these markings are symbols for up, down, left and right. You now have the information you need to solve the puzzle. Be careful! One misstep will spawn groups of enemies and they do not mess about!
Crafting and Obtaining Your Prize
Once you solve the floor tile puzzle, our ornate floor tile reveals itself to be a small elevator. Drop down into the new hole in the ground. Don’t worry, you won’t take fall damage. Head up the stairs to find a switch. This not only opens the front door, but also opens a crafting screen to make your new Void Armor.
For your efforts, this button will give you your reward. Just make sure you have 15x Lumenite Crystals on you!
All you need to craft it is 15x Lumenite Crystals. These drop with elite enemies. In other words, if you hear a musical queue for a tough enemy, killing them will give you a Lumenite Crystal. Odds are, you’ll have enough already.
Enjoy Your New Armor
Obtaining the Void Armor at this early stage of the campaign comes highly recommended. Solving The Monolith puzzle gives you 550 XP and a Trait Point. The armor itself will almost double your overall armor stats even if you’ve been levelling up your existing set. Either way, Void Armor will reward your efforts with quite the boost. A boost you will surely need when taking on the Claviger boss, right around the corner!
