The Last Resort Event is a limited-time ARC Raiders event added with the Riven Tides update. Unlike Shared Watch, this event does not force you to focus only on ARC combat. You earn progress by gaining XP across any map, while Ship Models give bonus Merits when you find them during raids.
The event runs from April 28 to May 25, 2026, and includes 21 rewards across three reward pages.
1. How to Earn Merits in Last Resort
Merits are the event currency used to unlock Last Resort rewards. The most reliable method is simply earning XP during raids, because XP is converted into Merit progress after the run, 100 XP for 1 Merit.
- Match XP: Earned from normal raid activity and converted into Last Resort Merits after the run.
- Ship Models: Event collectibles that give bonus Merits when found during raids.
- Any Map XP: Lets you progress the event through regular raids, so you do not need to stay on one map for basic Merit farming.
- Riven Tides Runs: Best choice when you want Ship Models and faster bonus progress.
- Safe Extraction: Helps secure your XP and Ship Models, making it the most consistent way to keep Merit progress moving.

Ship Models are special event trinkets added with Last Resort. There are five different Ship Models, and each is worth bonus Merits based on rarity, with the higher-rarity models giving much larger event progress.

Hotel Panorama Azzurro is one of the best places to farm Ship Models during the Last Resort Event because it has dense indoor loot and plenty of residential-style search spots. Instead of running through the hotel quickly, take time to check the rooms, lounge areas, and furniture surfaces, since Ship Models can appear as small trinket-style loot rather than obvious containers.

Beachcombing is the best route when you want higher-rarity Ship Models. Beachcombing is a Riven Tides-only map condition where you search for buried treasure on the beaches using Dockmaster’s Detector. Use the detector to dig up caches which contain Ship Models of different rarities.

- Wait for the Beachcombing map condition on Riven Tides.
- Bring or obtain a Dockmaster’s Detector.
- Search the beach north of the Port Authority Building.
- Dig up buried caches when the detector leads you to one.
- Extract after finding rare Ship Models like Sirena Dorata or Leviathan’s Crown.

The Last Resort Event is best farmed through short, safe raids rather than risky full-map runs. Match XP is converted into Merits after successful extraction, while Ship Models give extra Merit progress when you find them.
- Run safe XP routes: Play your most familiar map, loot quickly, complete nearby objectives, and extract consistently so your Match XP keeps turning into Merits.
- Use Riven Tides for Ship Models: Go to Riven Tides when you want bonus Merit progress, since the event’s Miniature Ship Models are tied to the Riven Tides update and are found during raids.
- Check dense loot areas: Prioritize interiors, containers, hotel rooms, furniture surfaces, and other trinket-style loot spots where Ship Models can appear.
- Extract after valuable finds: Leave early if you find a rare Ship Model, such as Sirena Dorata or Leviathan’s Crown, because losing the item wastes the best bonus progress.
- Do not force PvP: Last Resort progress comes from XP and Ship Models, so clean looting and safe extraction are usually better than chasing fights.
