Cities: Skylines includes special monument buildings you can add to your city, but only when all requirements for unlocking them are met. To add any monument to your city, you’ll need to reach the Megapolis population milestone and purchase nine map areas. When you’ve done that, monuments become available; but you’ll still need to fulfill their unique building requirements to unlock them. Space Elevator
Space Elevator is one super tourist attraction that will attract hundreds of visitors to your city weekly. So, it’s not that much different from standard unique buildings, except that it attracts many more visitors. Space Elevator is the most expensive monument to build from the base game, costing 1,500,000 million (and it has high maintenance costs to boot). These are the unique buildings your city must include to unlock Space Elevator:

Fusion Power Plant
Fusion Power Plant is a Cities: Skylines monument that gives your city a massive 16.000 MW power output boost. It’s an extremely big energy source that will eliminate the need to add further power generators to your city. You can probably delete many of the old power plants in your city after adding this monument. Fusion Power Plant costs 1,000,000 million to build and has these unique building requirements:

Hadron Collider
Hadron Collider is like one big super school for your city that provides one million extra spaces for each education level. This Cities: Skylines monument will probably eliminate the need to build more elementary or secondary schools in your city. It costs 800,000 to build Hadron Collider, and you can unlock it by adding these unique buildings to your city:

Doomsday Vault (Natural Disasters Expansion Pack)
Doomsday Vault is a monument the Natural Disasters DLC pack adds to Cities: Skylines. This Cities: Skylines monument is one big underground facility that enables your city’s shelters to accommodate more citizens. It also increases the food and storage capacities of shelters. The Doomsday Vault is an expensive monument costing 1,600,000 million to build. You’ll need these unique buildings in your city to unlock it:

Medical Center

Plus, it attracts many tourists to your city. The Castle of Lord Chirpwick is the most expensive monument in Cities: Skylines, for which you’ll need 1,900,000 million to build. Ultimate Recycling Plant (Green Cities Expansion Pack)
Players with the Green Cities DLC can also add the Ultimate Recycling Plant monument to their cities. Your city can export the goods and raw materials Ultimate Recycle Plant produces from recycled rubbish. This monument costs 750,000, and the following unique buildings unlock it:
