There are 7 numeric safe / door codes and 1 symbol puzzle to know, starting in Chapter 8: All the Time in the World and continuing through the late Q-Lab and archive sections.

The codes are fixed, so you can enter the same combinations on any playthrough instead of searching for the clues again. Some locks are optional, but others lead to collectibles, story routes, or useful shortcuts.

2. Chapter 8 Laundry Door

The first door keypad code appears in Chapter 8: All the Time in the World during the Carpathian Hotel section. This is part of the hotel infiltration route, and the clue is found nearby if you search the restricted office area instead of guessing the keypad.

Laundry Door code: 1805

Use this on the Laundry Door keypad. The clue comes from the Security Note inside the Manager’s Office, which is behind the main lobby service desk in a restricted area.

3. Chapter 8 Manager’s Office Safe

The Manager’s Office Safe is also found in Chapter 8: All the Time in the World. This safe is worth opening on a completion run because it contains the Cellar Key and the 6 of Roses collectible. The safe is under the table, where you find the laundry door code note.

The clue is the Vino Sacramental wine display inside the Manager’s Office. Check the wine display and use the date as the safe combination.

4. Chapter 8 Dining Room Fireplace Puzzle Solution

The Dining Room Puzzle is not a numeric keypad code, but it works like a symbol puzzle on the fireplace. It appears in Chapter 8: All the Time in the World and uses three animal symbols instead of numbers. Use the symbols in this order:

  1. Lion
  2. Snake
  3. Goat

This puzzle is part of the chapter route, so solve it when you reach the Dining Room instead of treating it like an optional safe, and it opens a secret passage.

5. Chapter 11 Maintenance Door

The next keypad appears in Chapter 11: Uninvited. This code opens the Maintenance Door and gives you a useful route through the area, but the clue is not directly beside the keypad.

Maintenance Door code: 3256

The clue is found on a laptop in the library near the courtyard route. Once you have it, return to the Maintenance Door and enter it on the keypad.

6. Chapter 12 Penthouse Safe

The Penthouse Safe appears in Chapter 12: Knightfall inside Nicholas Webb’s office. Unlike the simpler keypad clues, this safe uses a sequence of penthouse objects to reveal the code.

Penthouse Safe code: 1493

The clue comes from Isola’s note, which gives the object order: Diploma, Painting, Game, Model. Inspect those items in that order to get the four digits.

7. Chapter 15 Q-Lab Q-08 Armoury Door

The Q-Lab Q-08 Armoury Door appears in Chapter 15: Man of the Hour. This is a door keypad code inside Q-Lab, and the clue is connected to the shooting range.

Q-Lab Q-08 Armoury Door code: 1324

The clue comes from the shooting range leaderboard. Waters’ high score is 1324, which is also the armoury door code.

8. Chapter 15 Q-Lab Q-03 Stress Testing Cabinet

The second Q-Lab code is for the Q-03 Stress Testing Cabinet in Chapter 15: Man of the Hour. This is a cabinet keypad, not the armoury door, so it uses a different clue and number.

Q-Lab Q-03 Stress Testing Cabinet code: 4397

The clue is the vehicle number plate in the test chamber. The nearby reminder points you toward the test subject, and the plate reads QLAB 4397.

9. Chapter 16 Note With Keypad Puzzle Solution

The Note With Keypad Puzzle appears in Chapter 16: Wave of the Future during the late-game Webb Industries robotics plant mission. This is the trickiest keypad puzzle in the game because it uses a logic note instead of a simple nearby number.

The solution opens the archive/security route and can help you reach the security room through the vent.

Note with Keypad Puzzle code: 1864

You find the note in the Locker Room while trying to increase your security clearance and access the Command Center. The note is addressed to Carmine, and its Battle of Mobile Bay clue points to 1864.

  1. Reach the Webb Industries robotics plant in Chapter 16.
  2. Progress until you need to access the Command Center.
  3. Go to the corridor leading toward the locked keypad door.
  4. Head into the nearby Locker Room.
  5. Open the safe and read the Note With Keypad Puzzle.
  6. Return to the keypad.
  7. Enter 1864.
  8. Use the unlocked room and vent route to continue toward the security objective.
