Publishers SOEDESCO, paired with developer Zanardi&Liza, announced their new game, Dog Duty, has entered Early Access. As Zanardi&Liza’s “biggest project,” this indie game involves three main characters who fight together to take down evil octopi. Players take down these enemies by using weapons and “whichever moving vehicle” they can find.
Throughout the game, players venture through multiple islands until they destroy all the “octo-scum,” eventually facing the final boss. According to the game’s Steam page, players “can ride freely throughout the world” in hopes to “defeat epic bosses.” However, they warn players that these eight-armed enemies are also heavily armed, driving “their crazy octo-machines.”
Dog Duty is a single-player game and features full controller support. According to the press release, Zanardi&Liza joined in on the project to help ensure that the game reflects the feedback they’ve received from players.
Here’s what Steam has to say about Dog Duty:
Control a squad of misfits as they go up against some evil bigwig Octopus Commander and his army who are threatening world-peace. Int his fun, fast-paced Real Time Tactics game, you go into combat and use guerrilla warfare to eliminate all octo-scum.
Dog Duty is currently on Steam for $9.99.
