Battle Through Time will be published by Adult Swim Games, which makes sense considering the Samurai Jack series concluded with its fifth season on its Cartoon Network block. Soleil, a relatively new studio known for Naruto to Boruto Shinobi Striker, will handle development.

This will mark the third time the Samurai Jack series receives a video game adaptation, with two others released close to two decades ago. Samurai Jack: The Amulet of Time was a Game Boy Advance exclusive released in 2003, while Samurai Jack: The Shadow of Aku released in 2004 for the Nintendo Gamecube and PS2. Neither were quite as voraciously violent as this entry, however.

Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time is scheduled to release in Summer 2020. It will be available for the Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. For more information to come, be sure to visit Adult Swim Games’s official website.
