New Customizations, Romance, and More Await You in Fields of Mistria’s Newest Update

Fields of Mistria celebrates its first major milestone with a large update that will expand on villager romance interactions, unlock new skill perks, and reward the player with an expanded Renown for the town. Let's break down some of the new installations you can expect to see when reloading the game for your next play session.

New Customizations, Romance, and More Await You in Fields of Mistria’s Newest Update

Major updates have been added to Fields of Mistria as of November 18, further expanding the content to open up romanceable characters, introduce new skill perks, and add unique customizations for the player and farmhouse. Some of the most exciting inclusions to look forward to are increased levels and rewards for the Renown rank, a new summer event that will allow you to invite a special villager, and the customization features now offering more cosmetics as well as new furniture options.

Fields of Mistria was released in early access in August for $13.99. It features a full year’s worth of content that allows the player to understand the basics of the game and get a glimpse at all of the different seasons. As an homage to the cozy farming games that preceded it, Fields of Mistria has charmed audiences with its 90s anime-inspired aesthetics and smooth gameplay that never leaves the player wanting.

Along with quality-of-life updates, this patch focuses on increasing the Renown levels to 70 and unlocking additional content known as Crown Requests that will unlock at level 50, giving players more tasks to complete. New sets will also be available at the Museum in the Insect, Archaeology, and Fish departments to increase collectible items for foraging adventurers. Additional items will be included in the Saturday Market at Merri, Vera, and Louis’ stalls so players can personalize their farm and character with new hair and furniture options. Houses can also be upgraded to include two new rooms for further customization or sorting space based on player needs. Animals such as horses, cows, sheep, and llamas can also be equipped as punts, helping the player to get to and from their house before the clock knocks them out at 2 a.m.

For more updates on the game, Fields of Mistria regularly updates on their X (formerly known as Twitter) about game progress and road map agenda items. Players who experience bugs or would like to offer NPC Studios changes they’d like to see in the game can send in notices to the developers so they can check out future fixes.
