The Kingdom Hearts franchise is finally making its debut on PC as Epic Games announced the entire series’ exclusive launch in its platform on March 30, 2021.
Initial word about the launch came when prolific leaker Wario64 made a tweet regarding the games’ imminent arrival on EGS. A notion which was then supported by Epic Games by launching its own tweet, confirming the rumour.

The move will see the entire Kingdom Hearts catalogue expand from console to PC. They include Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix, Kingdom Hearts 2.8 HD Final Chapter Prologue, Kingdom Hearts 3, and the recently launched Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory.
Despite its original PlayStation roots, the franchise has releases across multiple platforms throughout its existence. Which, preceding the HD and Remix treatments, saw entries across a few handheld platforms, including mobile.
Known for mashing up Square Enix, Disney, and Pixar characters, the series revolves around the titular Kingdom Hearts. Players get to unravel the mysteries of the divided worlds through keyblader, Sora, and his stalwart allies, Donald and Goofy.
Being an exclusive deal with Epic Games, the games come at premium prices. With the exception of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix, which has a price tag of $49.99, all other titles cost $59.99. Avid fans will have to spend roughly $230 to get the comprehensive catalogue on release date.
