It’s been a while, assassins. We’re now in 2025, the fourth year of free updates for HITMAN: World of Assassination. It seems like IOI is taking a breather after their last roadmap had the limited-time mission The Splitter featuring Jean-Claude Van Damme as the target. Now in the new year, the Season of the Luck is upon us. The first roadmap of the year brings new updates full of content including new challenges, featured contracts, returning Elusive Targets and more. Well without further ado, let’s take a look at what’s coming in the new season.
Here’s a brief visual summary of what’s to come in the Season of the Luck roadmap:
Elusive Targets
We have quite a few returning targets between January and February. These Elusive Target missions can only be attempted by players who have yet to take them on. Sadly, those who have either completed or failed these Elusive Targets will be unable to replay them. Luckily we still have Elusive Target Arcade that can still give you a challenge. They are also bringing back Galore in two parts, allowing access to many targets, as long as you haven’t played them.
Starting January 17th you’ll have full access to Elusive Targets 1-12 in the first Galore, which ends on February 2nd. Then the second Galore, consisting of Elusive Targets 13 – 25 will be available starting January 24th till February 9th.
Of course, that’s not all, we’ll be getting some Elusive Targets starting February 14th – 23rd with The Heartbreaker and The Broker. Then starting February 28th – March 9th will be the return of The Fixer who hasn’t been seen since HITMAN 1 per community request. Afterwards, we have The Collector who will be making his appearance from March 7th – 16th. Finally, The Forger arrives March 14th – 23rd.
New Challenges & Feature Contracts
We have two new challenges during the season with the first starting January 30th. The first challenge is called Maneki-HITMAN in which you can earn a Proximity Lucky Cat Figurine. Not much else is known about the challenge but IOI will provide further details in the future. The second challenge is called Sky High Voltage which begins February 27th. Like the other challenge, there are not many details regarding what you have to do. However, IOI has said that on completion you unlock RFID Triggered Taser.

Next, we have our featured contracts for the season starting with Single and Ready to Mingle. STREET SURG30N is the creator who had the idea to create Valentine’s Day inspired contracts, each focusing on one target. These contracts are released on January 30th for all players. The second group of featured contracts titled Death Atmosphere, were created by Atmosphere, a speedrunner from China. They’ve been playing HITMAN for seven years and are now stepping into the spotlight. Their contracts release on February 27th for all players. IOI has provided a list of all the contracts featured on their website for anyone curious.

Returning Event & Twitch Drops
Now, we move on to the one event going on from Jan 30th – Feb 27th. This is of course the return of The Lee Hong Derivation. This escalation contract will be playable for free, giving you a chance to equip the famous Golden Dragon sniper rifle.
Just before this event begins, HITMAN: World of Assassination has some Twitch drops available from January 21st – 30th. However, there is a catch, these rewards are from a previous Twitch drop since IOI has decided to bring them back. To gain these rewards, link your Twitch account to your IOI account and simply watch one hour of your fellow Agents on Twitch. Please be aware, that both the Streamer and the viewer must link their accounts before progress can be made towards earning the four Twitch Drops. For more details, please see their Twitch Drops FAQ.
