This morning, some exciting news about the upcoming Pokémon games was sent out via newsletter. Firstly, more information has come out about Hisuian Zorua and Zoroark. Here are updates about Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, Pokémon Shining Pearl, and Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
Closer Look at Hisuian Zorua and Zoroark
A new video provides a closer look at Hisuian Zorua and Zoroark. Both in this video and the one that came out on October 21st show them in snowy climates. However, to some fans’ surprise, they are not Ice-type Pokémon. They are the franchise’s first Pokémon to be both Normal-type and Ghost-type. Since Normal-types are immune to Ghost-type attacks and vice versa, theoretically Pokémon with that type combination would be immune to both Ghost and Normal attacks. Also, they should be immune to Fighting-type attacks as well.
Gym Leaders
Another video shows two Gym Leaders. The first is Candice, the Snowpoint City Gym Leader who specializes in Ice-type Pokémon.
The second is Volkner the Sunyshore City Gym Leader who specializes in Electric-type Pokémon. He is the eighth and final gym leader the player must face to challenge the Elite Four.
Team Galactic
That video also shows Team Galactic’s leadership. That includes Commanders Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn and their Boss Cyrus. Team Galactic is one of my favorite antagonist organizations in the series, so I am very excited to face them again.
Legendary Lake Pokémon
Toward the end of the video, the Legendary Pokémon that reside in Sinnoh’s three lakes appear. Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf are Psychic-type legendaries that play a role in Team Galactic’s scheme.
