THQ Nordic announced earlier today that the remastering of Darksiders has been delayed. Originally the game would have released on October 25th for Xbox One and Playstation 4. It was also to be released as a digital download on the Wii U, with a physical copy being released later. The Wii U version was also to be released on October 25th.
The console releases of the game are now slated for the 22nd of November, with the PC release trailing at the end of the month, being released on November 29th. The game will cost $20 upon release and is managing to hit 60 FPS on PS4, Xbox One and PC while the Wii U is limited to 30 FPS. The PC version will reportedly be the only version to feature 4K and additional video options.
Changes to the game include:
- Doubled texture resolutions
- Rendering improvements and rework
- Better shadow rendering quality
- Post processing effects
On the same day Darksiders Warmastered is released, THQ Nordics other game, We Sing, will also release on November 22nd.
