Infinity Nikki’s first big post-launch event, Companion Day, has just been announced. Alongside the announcement of the new event and the rewards which players can earn from it, the new event trailer also teased two new 4-star outfits which players will be able to obtain during the event.
The Companion Day event will begin on December 17th 2024 and it’s a Florawish festival which celebrates a heroic Floof from the past who saved the village during a time of great turmoil. There are three core components to Companion Day in Infinity Nikki. Accept the Invitation appears to be the main story of the event and will task Nikki with helping Elea, the showrunner of Companion Day, get rid of any problems which arise during the festivities. Meanwhile, Fix the Flicker will be a puzzle-based activity where players will need to use the Electrician Ability Outfit to fix various electrical switches, and Fun Encounters will involve various cuddly critters in activities such as photo-taking, accessory-making, and more.
As for what rewards are available from this event, successfully completing each activity will award players with Diamonds, Blings, Shiny Bubbles, and the exclusive Best Partners title. Additionally, if players log in for seven days during the Companion Day event, they can earn up to 5 Limited-Time Revelation Crystals (which expire at the end of the Companion Day event on December 29th) as well as a batch of Shining Particles, which are used to upgrade Eurekas. There will also be a Super Escalation event active from December 21st to the 28th where players can earn double the materials at the Realm of Escalation.
Companion Day
Alongside the details of the new Companion Day event, two new outfits were showcased in the teaser trailer. The first is a long, elegant pink gown decked out in pearls and jewellery and complete with a fitting Marilyn Monroe-esque hairstyle. Meanwhile, the second is a green frog-themed outfit complete with a translucent raincoat and large oversized wellies. Both of these outfits are inspired by creatures from Infinity Nikki, with the former being based on the large pink Monroe encounter during Chapter 2 whereas the latter is based on the Croakers.
According to the official Chinese Infinity Nikki page, both of these outfits will be 4-star rarity outfits with “special abilities”, although they didn’t clarify how players would get their hands on them just yet. As for what abilities the outfits are tied to, we know that the Croaker-themed attire will be a new appearance for the Electrician Ability Outfit.
The Companion Day event in Infinity Nikki begins on December 18th 2024 and will last for two weeks until December 29th 2024.
