Coffee Talk Tokyo Gets March 2026 Release Date for PC and Consoles

The popular 2020 coffee brewing and talking simulator game, Coffee Talk, is getting a new installment, Coffee Talk Tokyo, with the release date set for March 5, 2026. Coffee Talk Tokyo will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.

What Is Coffee Talk Tokyo?

Coffee Talk Tokyo is a visual novel/simulator game that revolves around a late-night café set in the titular city Tokyo. You will serve both hot and cold drinks to your customers, with some new drinks added in, plus a new sprinkle stencil latte art tool.

What Characters Will There Be?

There will be a mix of new and returning faces in Coffee Talk Tokyo inspired by Japanese folklore, including humans and fantastical beings. A social feed, Tomodachill, will reveal new dialogue paths as you engage with your customers.

New customers include:

• Kenji, a traditional kappa salaryman looking for meaning and a way forward after retirement.
• Vin, the barista’s assistant dealing with a fractured past and the consequences of a previous disaster.
• Ayame, a recently deceased happy-go-lucky “It girl” struggling to make sense of her new afterlife.

Coffee Talk Tokyo will be available in 9 full localization languages.

Who Is Composing the Music?

As you make coffee and chat to your customers in Coffee Talk Tokyo, you can listen to the lo-fi soundtrack from Andrew “AJ” Jeremy, who was behind the music from the previous Coffee Talk games.

Collector’s Edition

A Collector’s Edition of Coffee Talk Tokyo will also be available, featuring the following additions:

• City Pop album with 10 tracks
• Seattle Prologue chapter
• In-game digital artbook

Is a Demo Available for Coffee Talk Tokyo?

The free demo for Coffee Talk Tokyo is now available on PC via Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox, if you wish to try out the game before its full release. A demo isn’t currently available for Nintendo Switch.
