Wholesome Games will be hosting their annual Wholesome Direct event on June 8th at 9am PT/ 12pm ET. This event is a great way to get connected with the cozy gaming community. There will be early access to upcoming games, exclusive interviews with cozy content creators, and announcements from developers around the world. This event will be a cozy kickstart to your summer and prepare you for all things wholesome to come to the cozy gaming community.

Wholesome Direct is a wonderful chance for indie developers to grow their communities and shine light on upcoming projects. The 2023 event showcased beloved games like Unpacking, Frogsong, Mineko’s Night Market, Garden of Life, Botany Manor and many others. It’s safe to say that this 2024 event will be a comforting break from the intensity of the gaming world. There is a smaller event scheduled for December, very cutely named Wholesome Snack, that features world premiers, demos, exclusives, and game announcements.
Frogsong was showcased at last year’s Wholesome Direct event.
Aside from this annual event, Wholesome Games also runs another initiative called Wholesome Presents. This project allows them to work with indie developers that need an extra boost in promoting their games. Developers have 100% creative control over their project while Wholesome Presents provides marketing strategies, expert feedback, and small investments. So far they have presented two games, including the cozy management sim Minami Lane.
Minami Lane was supported by Wholesome Presents for their April 2024 release.
