Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has continued support for the game two years after it's initial release in late 2016. The latest DLC pack has now confirmed both of it's characters and they are the new version of Broly, and Gogeta in the more powerful Super Saiyan Blue form from the upcoming film, Dragon Ball Super: Broly. Broly was confirmed in a Shonen V Jump magazine, while Gogeta was shown in the game, on November 29th in a brief Japanese TV spot. The TV spot was from a Japanese Gaming outlet called Game's Talk. The clip below was filtered from the stream.
Gogeta's design is roughly the same as it was in the twelfth Dragon Ball Z film, Fusion Reborn. Only differences are that he is now Super Saiyan Blue (as opposed to just Super Saiyan), and the orange parts of his vest are now yellow (closer to the design of another fusion character, Gotenks). In the commercial, Gogeta is shown doing the rapid blue energy blast he which could be the same one, he performs in the new trailer for the film, and potentially a new form of the iconic Kamehameha. No exact release date has been given for the DLC pack, except that it will be out sometime in winter.
