Fans of the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise have reason to rejoice: the first teaser for Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 has just been unveiled at CinemaCon 2025 in Las Vegas. The chilling teaser gives a glimpse of the upcoming sequel, which should bring even more animatronic terror to the big screen.
Director Emma Tammi, who directed 2023’s Five Nights at Freddy’s, is back to continue the story. Scheduled for release in movie theaters on December 5, 2025, the film promises to delve deeper into the haunting mystery surrounding Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria. In the teaser, Josh Hutcherson reprises his role as Mike Schmidt, alongside Elizabeth Lail as Vanessa. This time, however, the stakes seem even higher.
With the success of the first film and fans’ attachment to the franchise, Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 looks set to be another horror hit. Fans can look forward to more suspense, more animatronics and an even more intense story when the film hits cinemas in December.
