Gossamer Quartz is a rare and valuable material that’s needed to craft powerful equipment in Soulframe. Its lower drop rate makes it harder to find than other materials, but there are a few different methods you can utilize to maximize your chances at farming some.
1. How to Get Gossamer Quartz
There are 4 different methods you can use to acquire Gossamer Quartz. While none offer guaranteed drops, some of them give you more reliable chances than others.
- Opening Chests: The easiest but most unreliable way, there’s a small chance you can get some from chests. Rare chests have a better chance of dropping the Quartz.
- Crypts of the Circade: This is the most reliable method if you have Crypt Keys. Sarcophagi in these Crypts have a 50% chance of granting a Gossamer Quartz.
- Broken Statues: Repairing broken statues around the world with a song rewards you with Gossamer Quartz. However, there is no way to track the location of statues.
- Buy from Avakot: Avakot will appear near you while you explore occasionally, and there is a chance he’ll sell Gossamer Quartz for 1500 Dracs each.

2. What’s the Best Way to Farm Gossamer Quartz?
The best method for farming Gossamer Quartz depends on your supply of Crypt Keys. If you have some, going through Crypts of the Circade is the most reliable way to get the material. If not, going through standard dungeons is the best alternative.
2.1 Farming with Crypts of the Circade
Using Crypt Keys to go through the Crypts of Circade gives the highest chance to get Gossamer Quartz. Each key grants one run, and the sarcophagi inside have a 50% chance of dropping the material. However, there are a couple of drawbacks to using this method:
- Crypt Keys themselves are rare, so you may not always have some to use.
- The number of Sarcophagi inside the Crypts is random, so the amount of Gossamer Quartz you find can vary wildly.

2.2 Farming through Standard Dungeons
If you lack Crypt Keys, standard dungeons are the next best way to farm. While chests have a lower chance to drop Gossamer Quartz, you can find plenty of them within dungeons, making this the easiest and most accessible way to try to farm the material.
