Since the game is in Early Access, these may change between updates, so use the HELP command in-game to check the newest list before relying on any command in a main save.

2. How to Open the Cheat Console in Paralives
Paralives does not require a separate “testing cheats” command before using them. Open the console, type the command, and press Enter. Cheats are not case-sensitive, so makeitrain, MAKEITRAIN, and MakeItRain should work the same way.
- Open a save in Live Mode.
- Press Ctrl + Shift + C or Ctrl + F1 on Windows.
- On macOS, use Command + Fn/Globe + F1.
- Type your command into the command console.
- Press Enter to activate it.
- Type HELP to show the current full command list.
3. Money Cheats
Money cheats let you build freely, test expensive furniture, skip early job grinding, or set up a story household with a specific amount of Paradimes. Use PRINTMONEY to add funds to the current balance; use SETMONEY to replace the household balance with an exact number.
| Cheat | Output |

4. Skill Cheats
Skill cheats are useful when a job, hobby, recipe, repair task, or storytelling setup requires a Para to be more capable than they currently are. In Early Access, skill cheats can display skill levels, raise one skill by one level, or set a chosen skill directly to a chosen value. The maximum skill level is 20.
| Cheat | Output | Example |
|---|---|---|
| SHOWSKILLS | Shows the selected Para’s current skill levels | SHOWSKILLS |
| LEVELUPSKILL [skill] | Adds one level to a specific skill | LEVELUPSKILL Piano |

Paralives Skill Names and IDs
Skill command formatting matters. If a skill has a different internal name from the visible display name, the command may fail or return an invalid argument. The safest method is to use SHOWSKILLS in-game and copy the names from the console output.
| Skill Category | Skill Names / Examples |
|---|---|
| Music | Piano, Guitar, Triangle |
| Food | Cooking |
| Fitness | Dancing, Exercising |
| Technology | Programming, GraphicDesign |
| Visual Art / Art | Painting |

| Science | Astronomy, Biology, Surgery |
| Kids | Language, Potty |
| Outdoorsiness | Fishing, though PC Gamer notes some Early Access skill IDs may not fully work yet |
