  2. Select a Database option on the drop-down menu that appears and click OK.
  3. Click Clubs on the editor’s sidebar.

Of course, you can set a much higher transfer budget for a club than 300 million if you wish. However, you’ll need to go back and edit the data with the editor, save it, and start a new career game to load it in. There doesn’t appear to be any option within Football Manager 2024’s in-game menu to load editor data after starting a career game. Correct me if I’m wrong though!

Increase Players’ Attribute Ratings

Setting new attribute ratings for players is another good way to cheat with the FM24 editor. You can create super players in your team by increasing their attribute ratings. These are the steps for increasing a player’s attribute ratings with the editor.

  1. Bring up the FM24 editor and go through steps one to six above to select a club for editing. For this example, select Watford again to edit one of their player’s attributes.
  2. Click Staff and Players to expand that category.
  3. Select Players to view the squad for the selected club.
  4. Next, select Morris, James in the Watford squad and click Edit.

  5. Click Player Data to expand that category. You will now see four attribute subcategories to select for editing attribute ratings.
  6. Select Technical Attributes to view them.
  7. Click in the attribute boxes to delete the current values and input new ratings. Note that 20 is the highest value you can input for any single attribute.

  8. Adjust the physical and mental attributes of the player by selecting those subcategories and input values for them.
  9. Go through steps 13 to 23 above to save and load the editor data for Watford or other club.

Look at the attribute ratings for James Morris or other players you’ve edited with the FM24 editor tool. The player will now have whatever attribute ratings you’ve set with the editor. Increasing the attribute ratings for players like this is an even easier way to create a pretty awesome team with the FM24 editor than setting a huge transfer budget.

There are many other ways you can alter clubs in Football Manager 2024 with the FM24 editor. However, the best way to cheat is to set a massive transfer budget and very high attribute ratings for a selected club and its players as outlined above. Or you can utilize that tool to bankrupt clubs in your division and ruin their teams by lowering players’ attribute ratings.
