Abdul Fatawu (Sporting Lisbon)
Abdul Fatawu is a young attacking winger with great potential. He’s already a three-star winger at 19 years old with good dribbling and long-shot attribute ratings of 15. However, Fatawu’s great speed is his most potent weapon for attacks. He’s far too quick for most defenders with pace and acceleration attribute ratings of 16 that can increase.

Fatawu is valued at 13.5 to 16.5 million. However, his value will likely significantly increase to more like 50 million in future seasons. It’s best to snap up this lad when he’s reasonably affordable.
Franciso Trincao (Sporting Lisbon)

Another thing I like about Bakayoka is that he’s a good free-kick taker who scores quite a few goals from set pieces.

Although a quality player, Bakayoka’s value of 59-88 million is still perhaps overly high compared with the likes of Trincao, Almada, and Fatawu. You’ll probably have to stump up much more to sign him than other recommended wingers here. However, you could try signing him with a free transfer at the end of 2025, as his contract expires in 2026.
Thiago Almada (Atlanta Utd)
Almada is a great attacking midfielder who can play in positions on the left or center of the pitch. This is a player with high technical attributes of 16 for dribbling, free kicks, passing, technique, and flair. He has 15 ratings for the long shots, first touch, penalty taking, decisions, determination, vision, acceleration, agility, and balance attributes. Thus, his all-round game is strong and will get even better because Thiago is a 22-year-old player with future potential.
Thiago Almada
Almada is undervalued at 11-16.5 million. This could be because he plays for the American MLC team rather than a top European club. Signing this player for 16 to 20 million would be a bargain. I sold him to Real Madrid for about 46 million when he was a few years older.
Leo Sauer (Feyenoord)
Leo Sauer’s attribute ratings don’t look that impressive at first glance. However, he is a promising 17-year-old winger who is the youngest player to play for the Slovak national team and has very good attribute ratings for a player of his age. Sauer has a good first touch and natural fitness. He also has decent pace, acceleration, agility, dribbling, determination, and technique attribute ratings of 13. Leo’s all-round game is solid and he can play in six positions on the flanks and in the center of the pitch.

Although primarily recommended because of his considerable future potential, Sauer is still a player who can have an immediate impact on many top-division teams. He’s a relatively cheap player for top-division clubs to sign, with a transfer valuation of 5.2-6.2 million in 2023/2024. Leo’s value will almost certainly increase (he’s valued at 36-40 million in my team), especially if you give him good game time or loan him to another club.
Those wingers in Football Manager 2024 are great young players with much potential. Although not necessarily the very best wingers in the world in 2023/2024, they can still be top-class players. They’re players who will likely assist and score many goals for your team from the wide forward or midfield positions.
