Viktor Gyokeres (Sporting Lisbon)
Gyokeres is a 25-year-old player who excels in the pressing, advanced, and complete forward roles. This is a determined and hard-working forward with an excellent finishing rating of 17. He has outstanding physical attribute ratings in the 18-20 range for strength, stamina, and natural fitness. Viktor’s off-the-ball movement, first touch, composure, dribbling, pace, and anticipation are also decent with ratings of 14-15 for those attributes.

This player’s 32-40 million value makes him somewhat more affordable than some of the stars on this list. He’s slightly undervalued, and numerous clubs from Europe’s big five leagues of Spain, England, France, Italy, and Germany can probably sign this player. However, a bid of 50-60 million might be required to convince Sporting to sell this ace marksman.
Santiago Gimenez (Feyenoord)
Gimenez is a 22-year-old forward with a good all-round game and future potential. He has good attribute ratings of 16 and 15 for finishing, off-the-ball movement, determination, composure, balance, work rate, and stamina. His first touch, heading, anticipation, bravery, decisions, and concentration attribute ratings of 14 are also decent. However, Gimenez isn’t an especially physically imposing striker with a modest strength rating of 11, the only slight weakness in his game.
Santiago Gimenez
Gimenez is not as good as Haaland or Mbappe, but he’ll still score plenty of goals even in the best European leagues. The 51-59 million valuation for Santiago is probably about right considering his future potential. However, you might be able to sign him for slightly less if you’re lucky.
Mason Greenwood (Manchester Utd)
Mason Greenwood is a great forward and attacking winger who can play in the center or on both sides of a front three. He has very good ratings of 16 for finishing, dribbling, flair, and pace, which are important attacking attributes. Greenwood’s good acceleration, agility, first touch, technique, and natural fitness are additional strengths of his game. Mason is also good at free-kicks and could enhance your team’s set-piece play.

This player is valued at 48-78 million, which doesn’t make him especially cheap. However, don’t forget that Mason is also a young player at 21 with attribute ratings that will likely increase for about five or six years. So, it’s worth signing this potentially top-class forward with a bid that falls within his value range.
Kylian Mbappe (Paris St-Germain)
Mbappe is one of the best forwards in the world who bagged a hat-trick for France in the 2022 World Cup final and has already played 70 games for his country at 24 in FM24! He is an amazingly quick player with exceptional attribute ratings of 20 for pace and acceleration. Added to that is Mbappe’s outstanding dribbling, finishing, off-the-ball movement, penalty-taking, technique, flair, composure, anticipation, and first touch that make him a truly world-class forward. He’s also the perfect player for a front three because he’s a versatile forward and winger adept in both central forward and wide positions.
Kylian Mbappe
Alas, the best footie players in the world aren’t cheap. You’ll probably need a transfer budget eclipsing 100 million to sign Mbappe, who has a 77-114 million valuation. However, note that Mbappe’s contract in FM24 is due to expire in 2024. This raises the possibility of signing Mbappe for free (barring an additional signing-on fee) if he hasn’t renewed his contract at Paris St-Germain by the beginning of 2024. So, keep an eye on his contract situation during the first 2023/2024 season in FM24.
Erling Haaland (Manchester City)
Who’s the best forward in the world? Why, it must be Erling Haaland, who’s consistently among the highest-scoring players in the Premier League. Haaland has an outstanding physical game with extra green attribute ratings of 17-19 for pace, natural fitness, strength, acceleration, balance, and jumping reach. He also has outstanding finishing, off-the-ball movement, anticipation, and composure attribute ratings of 18-19, as well!
Erling Haaland
It’s frightening Haaland is already the crème da la crème of forwards in Football Manager 2024 at 22. Erling has amazing future potential, but unfortunately, the valuation for this player is not for sale. This pretty much means Manchester City won’t accept any bids for Haaland when he’s fully committed to playing for that team at least. The best way to get Erling is to start a game at Manchester City.
Victor Osimhen (Parthenope)
Victor Osimhen is one of the best African forwards in Football Manager 2024. He’s an extremely quick player with outstanding finishing and off-the-ball movement attribute ratings of 19 and 18. Osimhen is also great in the air with heading and jumping reach attribute ratings of 18 and 15. He thrives at heading the ball into the back of the net from crosses played into the box.

The 100-120 million valuation for Osimhen seemingly makes him slightly more expensive than Mbappe. However, there’s a 103 million minimum release fee in Victor’s contract. Thus, you can certainly snap up this player for no more than 103 million in 2023/2024.

Marcos Leonardo is a very decent 20-year-old forward with the potential to become a world-class player by his mid-20s. He has good attribute ratings of 15 for finishing, off-the-ball movement, composure, and acceleration. Leonardo is also a player with a decent work rate, natural fitness, stamina, agility, anticipation, and technique.
