It’s that time again for another round of what we believe are the best games releasing for the month. Last month was a bit quieter, though there were some games to rave about. We got the exciting souls-like WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers, the genre-breaking Shadow Labyrinth, and a standalone sequel expansion of RoboCop: Rogue City. Now we’re in August, where we have a few remakes of classic games, some port releases, next instalments, and brand new IPs. Enough of my rambling, let us get down to business and show you what we believe are the best games for August (2025).
Due to the influx of many big game releases over the last few months, you might need to catch up with knowing what came out. If so, then check out last month’s list, Top 8 Best Games Releasing in July (2025).

Once there, they soon discover that the situation bears a resemblance to the Curien Mansion incident from two years ago. Determined to uncover the source of the infestation, they begin shooting their way through hordes of creatures.
This remake offers gameplay faithful to the original experience, with the choice to play solo or in co-op. However, there are a bunch of new features and changes like with the graphics getting a more modern touch and a remastered soundtrack. Though if you are a fan of the original soundtrack, its also available. New additions with the remake are different game modes, like Training, where you can polish up your skills in various scenarios. There’s also Boss mode, where you’ll take on the challenge of defeating every one of the game’s bosses as fast as you can.
