Kastov 74U – MW2 (2022)
This game makes a unique decision to feature the same rotation of guns from MW2 (2022) in MW3 (2023). The newer weapons definitely feel better to use than the older ones, but the older weapons are preserved by the new attachments featured in MW3 (2023).
AK class setups are all really good at medium ranges and eats people on maps like Rust or Rio which are often put into 24/7 playlists.
In general, assault rifle class setups benefit most from reductions to vertical recoil. I will mostly build every AR to accommodate this piece of information.
Also give the Kastov 7.62 a try in MW3 (2023).

Lachmann-556 – MW2 (2022)
I get flack from my buddy who is very good at MW3 (2023) for liking to use this gun over other assault rifles in the game. But I still believe this Lachmann-556 class setup is worth using. This gun is a beam, there is not really much else to tell. Fans of this weapon from its debut will be pleased to know that it is still very good.
This is my personal favorite OG weapon to make its return to MW3 (2023).

SVA 545 – MW3 (2023)
The SVA 545 is another laser, and one of the best options for a low recoil weapon in the assault rifle class post MCW patch. With this setup, players who love their optics won’t compromise the ability to control the gun in order to use their favorite sight. Players who are fine with iron sights though can opt for 45 round mags on this class setup to keep shooting.
Zero recoil on this class setup.

MTZ 556 – MW3 (2023)
This gun is very effective from close to medium ranges. It is a reliable gun to run when the aim is to have a good game and a clean performance. The build that will be covered is going to prioritize moving quickly and being accurate. The MTZ 556 has no problem putting shots on target, but it is noticeably jumpier than the SVA 545 or the pre-patch MCW peace be with its soul.
The Bruen Heavy Support Grip is one of the best underbarrels in MW3 (2023).

DM56 – MW3 (2023)
Being skeptical to pick up this gun at a first glance is understandable. It looks like a piece of junk, especially with the molten barrel gun kit earned from weekly challenges no longer available. My tune changed after I saw this video of xProMvz getting a nuke with it on YouTube without seeming to try very hard.
This gun may catch a nerf soon.
I ran it with a double XP token active after watching that video and I max leveled the gun in only a couple of matches. This class setup is wonderful to use on Rust when shooting at players who utilize that map’s verticality. It also usually never takes more than three shots at any range to take people out. This Steph Curry Range paired with the potential to equip 40 round mags makes this weapon a real powerhouse.

Holger 556 – MW3 (2023)
I don’t care much for what is allowed and not allowed in Call of Duty League play. We’re in copper, so if you want to use the Holger 556, use the Holger 556. This gun is banned in pro league for a reason though, It’s really strong. The recoil of this gun is so sparse, and it has astounding 3 shot range with little fall off. A barrel mod for recoil control isn’t even necessary.
This is a guaranteed positive game.

DG-56 – MW3 (2023)
This rifle based on the Chinese QBZ-97 is a very viable option for multiplayer. The fact that this gun is a burst rifle may be off-putting at first, especially when using it with no attachments. But stick with it, and watch this gun quickly snowball into one of the best damaging guns in the game that is also a blast to use.
This is the class setup I have the most fun using in MW3 (2023).

Striker – MW3 (2023)
This submachine gun sports decent damage from medium to close range and the potential to win fights from afar due to its exceptionally low recoil. This is the better Striker between itself and the other one chambered in 9mm.
Whereas most ARs benefit from attachments which provide bonuses to vertical recoil, SMGs are different because a larger priority when using them is mitigating horizontal recoil. If this is well maintained, then all that is needed is to pull the right stick down when firing.
The Striker is the most rifle-like SMG in MW3 (2023).

WSP Swarm – MW3 (2023)
This gun is amazing on maps like shipment and generally very dominant in close quarter engagements. The fire rate of this gun is akin to the Vesper from Black Ops 3, or the Spitfire from Black Ops 4. People seem to maximize this gun with very cracked movement. Being able to close the distance with this weapon is key. Engagements in any range between 5-20 feet are pretty much free granted you aren’t caught in a run animation.
Players frying me with this gun has made me close MW3 in anger so many times.

Rival 9 – MW3 (2023)
Very nice option for rushing, this gun is very fast. The player moves fast while holding it, it shoots fast, and finishes fights very quickly as well. Definitely give this class setup a go, from level 1 it is a beast.
Probably the best and most versatile SMG in MW3 (2023).

Don’t assume everything you read on the internet is true. Hopefully I am able to earn some ethos by showing my statistics on MW3 (2023).
I believe a 1.00 KD is the standard metric, on average I will go a little positive.
These setups will at least provide players with even records granted they have some skill. Some other lists I’ve seen composed appear to be made by people who have never played a video game before. I believe in these class setups and can guarantee at least one of them will work for you.
