We are just days away from the 42nd edition of WrestleMania. Being televised from Las Vegas, WrestleMania 42 goes down on April 18th, and the 19th. Brock Lesnar will compete against Oba Femi. Roman Reigns and CM Punk will square off to settle their differences. And Cody Rhodes will see if he can match up against Randy Orton’s dark side. Here are my predictions for the event.
1. Oba Femi Finds a Way to Defeat Brock!
Nothing has prepared Oba for this type of match. Brock Lesnar is one of the last old-school powerhouses that the company has to offer. He recently returned to the ring to face off against Seth Rollins for Paul Heyman, but was stopped by Oba.
Is this another loss for The Beast at Mania?
What better way to make a name for yourself on the main roster than to get The Beast’s attention? Oba Femi is slowly becoming a household name with the WWE audience, and on night two, he will become an even bigger deal when he beats Brock Lesnar.
2. Cody Rhodes Beats Randy Orton at Mania
This ruthless rivalry between two friends goes all the way back to The Legacy. A faction where Randy was the leader, and Cody was one of his teammates. Now, all these years later, the two men will have a match on the grandest stage of them all.

I can see with the addition of Pat McAfee that Cody Rhodes will win against Orton. Before Pat McAfee, I was leaning more towards Randy Orton winning the match. But now, I can kinda see Pat costing Randy the match.
3. AJ Lee Retains the Championship
AJ Lee was last seen at a WrestleMania event over ten years ago, and she finds herself on the cusp of having another WrestleMania appearance when she has a match against Becky Lynch.
A lot of pride is on the line in this matchup…since they both want to be known as the best female competitor. I believe that AJ Lee will have her WrestleMania moment again, as she holds the Women’s Intercontinental Championship over her head once she pins Becky Lynch.

4. The Tribal Chief Versus the Best in the World
Roman and Punk’s bad blood against each other goes all the way back to the days of The Shield. Roman Reigns looks at Punk as the thorn in his side when he tried to pick up traction in the WWE. Once CM Punk quit the WWE over ten years ago, he went on a podcast and said things about Roman, and it appears the OTC never forgot about that.

Both competitors have a slew of reasons to be upset with the other, but Roman Reigns has more to prove heading into this match (in my opinion) because Punk is viewed as the guy who got over when Roman was still trying to find his footing. Therefore, it is more important for Roman to win.
5. Seth Wins Against Gunther
A conflict that apparently came out of left field… Seth Rollins finds himself involved in a situation with Gunther when he is focused on The Vision. The two will lock up in a match against each other at WrestleMania 42.

I understand the consensus is to never bet against Gunther, but I believe that Seth Rollins will win this match because he wants to showcase his skills when he returns to feud with The Vision. Also, Gunther has lost at Mania before.
