Players take on the role of nature scouts stranded on a mysterious island, aiming to ascend a dangerous mountain. In the Mesa biome, a stylized green creature—shown clinging to a cactus—highlights the game’s playful approach to survival and teamwork.

Peak is designed for solo or multiplayer co-op sessions, supporting up to four friends. The gameplay focuses on scaling procedurally changing mountains, relying on both skill and collaboration.
