Starsand Island was confirmed to be coming out sometime in February 2026 in Early Access exclusively on Steam. Now, we have an official release date for the Early Access version. We now know that Starsand Island will be available on Steam from February 11, 2026. Plus, we also know how much it will cost, and that a Standard and Deluxe Edition will be available.
Starsand Island Prices and Editions
Not only do we know when Starsand Island is coming out (at least in Early Access), but we also know the price. The cost depends on which edition you go for.
The Standard Edition for Starsand Island Early Access is set to be $27.93. This includes the base game, plus the Chinese New Year Furniture Set and the Neo-Chinese Outfit.
There will also be a Deluxe Edition for Starsand Island Early Access, which will be slightly more expensive at $41.93. This addition includes everything from the Standard Edition, as well as the Classic Furniture Set, Elegant Formal Outfit, and Pumpkin Carriage.
These prices are for the Early Access release of Starsand Island. The original prices are $39.90 for the Standard Edition, and $59.90 for the Deluxe Edition.
Starsand Island Release Date and Time
The release date for the Early Access version of Starsand Island is now set for February 11, 2026. The game will become available to purchase and install from 9am PST.
Wishlist and Free Demo
You can now Wishlist Starsand Island on Steam and follow the game for more news and updates. A free demo is also available to download, which allows you to play a good chunk of the game to give you an idea of what to expect from the Early Access release. It is recommended to play with a game controller, but mouse and keyboard controls are also available.
Full Version Release Date and Platforms
Currently, the full release of Starsand Island is set to come out sometime in Summer 2026. A specific date has not yet been given, and this release period may change.
Starsand Island is also expected to be released on other platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2.

What to Expect From Starsand Island Early Access
Despite only being in Early Access and not yet a full release, there’s plenty of content to enjoy in Starsand Island. More information has previously been revealed in more detail, but here’s a quick recap:
- You will be able to cultivate over 100 different crops, using traditional manual tools as well as automated machines.
- You can keep and raise various livestock, including poultry, cows, alpacas, and more.
- You will be able to embark in a profession covering different fields, ranking up to become an expert.
- Your homestead will be customizable in many ways, including adding furniture and decor, plus the ability to purchase additional land.
- Explore the vast and beautiful island as you go on adventures, equipped with your trusty bow.
- Customize your own character by changing their outfit, hair, skin tone, eyes, etc.
- Ride around the world via different vehicles and mountables, either on land or in the air.
- Interact with the townsfolk and get to know them.
- Enjoy seasonal festivals, as well as the four seasons themselves as the environment changes to reflect the time of year.
