At the end of 2023, Nvidia celebrated the release of over 500 RTX games and creative applications. During their CES 2024 address, Nvidia announced another 14 major titles to receive the RTX treatment. One of the games leading the charge was the highly-anticipated sandbox MMO, Pax Dei from Mainframe Industries. Accordingly, the game developers affirmed that NVIDIA DLSS 3 will be included on “day one” of launch, giving GeForce RTX gamers exceedingly fast framerates during Pax Dei early access. Mainframe Industries produced a trailer featuring gameplay footage and player builds to showcase the ‘RTX effect’.
According to Nvidia, for players who do not have an RTX computer, gamers can still enjoy Pax Dei via cloud streaming thanks to GeForce Now, when the game launches. Mainframe Industries later avowed that statement in their Discord announcement channel:
“…In our journey to deliver an MMO playable on any screen, we’re also excited to confirm that we’re working on making Pax Dei available on GeForce Now, at a later date.” – The Mainframe Team, Discord – Jan 8th, 2024
