A new game mode, Clone Rumble, is coming to Marvel Rivals, and it moves away from the competitive focus to give way to absolute chaos. Additionally, Black Widow will receive a new skin completely free. All of this will arrive on March 7, 2025.
The trailer for this mode shows how strategy and chaos will be the hallmark of this experience, allowing games filled with the same hero. In Clone Rumble, both teams will select a hero, and then all players must choose from those options, which can result in games with 12 Mr. Fantastics or an arena full of Hulks.
This new game mode will arrive on March 7th along with the event/minigame Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure, which will function as a board game with dice and board.
Players will be able to advance through their squares to claim free rewards such as Units or the new Black Widow skin.
Free Skin for Black Widow
This skin is influenced by the old west and is based on the Earth-51920 version of Black Widow, which makes sense since in Marvel Rivals we have seen other character variants from different Earths, such as the Ultimate version of Mr. Fantastic: The Maker.

In their launch video, they refer to her as Mrs. Barnes because in this alternate universe, Natasha (known as Natalia Romanova) is married to James Barnes (Bucky), who is Captain America’s ally and later the Winter Soldier in the main 616 universe and in most of its versions.
For now, the duration of the Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure event has not been confirmed, but it is expected to last at least a few weeks. So hurry up and get the free Black Widow skin!
