For players who enjoy building and progression-loop satisfaction from games like Terra Nil and Satisfactory, Asaloda Games announce their relaxing city-builder, Lands of Koastalia. The solo developer’s aim was to create a game that allows for natural-looking towns. Essentially, Lands of Koastalia‘s building system overlays an irregular grid. The game’s creation algorithms generate unique constructions every time, putting forward a picturesque birds-eye view for the player.

Mainly the players’ most chief mission as mayor is to keep the people happy. While also constructing naturalistic villages for them across an unexplored island. Prospect the land and manage a comprehensive resource system while meeting the needs of the residents. However, while the population grows, their needs also grow in complexity. In order to meet every requirement of their citizens, the player must establish varying chains of production. Building communities anchored across different resources to manage production networks between them is the bulk of the strategy.

The game has a huge focus on its visual part. It’s very pleasant not only to build a great city, manage resources, automate things, but also to just relax and draw your village like a painting on an island as a canvas.
