Until Aug 14, 2024, you can claim Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II and experience the story of the Jedi Exile, choosing between both the light and dark side of the Force as you progress through the game.
Star Wars: KOTOR II was initially released back in 2004. The PC version came only a couple of months later, in Feb 2005. KOTOR II takes place five years after the events of the first Knights of the Old Republic. The Sith has hunted the Jedi to near extinction across the galaxy.
If you’re not looking to jump into the second game, a remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is currently in the works.
The remake has had a shaky development, with the team at points having to reconfirm the title was in active development and hadn’t been canceled.
KOTOR II is a fantastic option if you haven’t already played it yet, taking a different approach to the Force and Star Wars universe.
If you’re looking for other ways to enjoy Star Wars and the High Republic era, Disney’s most recent show, The Acolyte, takes place in the High Republic era. The final episode of season one aired earlier on July 16, 2024.
