Dune Awakening - Patch Notes

Patch 1.1.15.0 for Dune: Awakening introduces major Deep Desert changes, PvE loot rebalances, spice field spawn adjustments, and Landsraad task updates. Here are all features and fixes included in the July 7 update.

Patch Highlights

  • Tier 6 Resource Expansion: Tier 6 resources are now available across wider areas in the Deep Desert PvE zones, improving endgame gathering routes.
  • Deep Desert Loot Randomization: Unique loot container respawn timers now include a randomization element for less predictable farming.
  • Plastanium Component Drops: Plastanium crafting components are split by location, dropping specifically from Imperial Testing Stations, Caves, or Shipwrecks, while Fallen Shipwrecks and Buried Treasure can drop from any pool.
  • Unique PvE Loot Drops: PvE loot in Deep Desert now has a chance to include a wider selection of Uniques.
  • Spice Field Respawn Adjustments: Medium spice fields increased back from 5 to 8; small fields increased from 22 to 30, enhancing gathering density.
  • PvP Zone Exit Delay: Leaving PvP security zones now takes 30 seconds instead of 5, reducing border camping and giving PvP players time to defend.
  • Landsraad Contribution Update: Kill and Delivery Contributions can now occur after task completion but only count towards personal progress, not faction rewards or guild votes.
  • Stability and Sandworm Improvements: Game stability improved; sandworms less likely to push vehicles under terrain.
  • New PvP Audio Alert: Added a distinct audio cue when entering or leaving PvP zones.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Harkonnen faction recruitment contract “Do you have what it takes?” getting stuck if dialogue with Maxim Kazmir was exited prematurely.
  • Fixed contract rewards dropping on the ground if inventory was full. Rewards now require sufficient space before claiming.
  • Fixed vehicle modules not highlighting properly after applying customization variants.
  • Fixed overlapping placement of pentashield surfaces when deploying multiple shields.
  • Fixed exploit allowing vehicles to be built using items from another player’s inventory.
