Dune: Awakening Building Contest – How to Enter & What You Can Win
Dune: Awakening has officially launched its first major community building contest, inviting all players to construct stunning outposts and faction-themed bases across Arrakis. Whether you swear loyalty to the Atreides, serve the Harkonnen, or represent the neutral powerhouse CHOAM, this is your chance to showcase your creativity and win exclusive prizes. 1. Contest Theme – Choose Your Faction
This building challenge centers around expressing your faction loyalty through architecture. Your goal is to create a structure that aligns with one of the three factions: Atreides, Harkonnen, or CHOAM. You can build a fortress, outpost, or even a ceremonial shrine — the format is up to you, but the theming must be clear and distinctive.
- You are free to mix and match building parts, including using CHOAM elements in an Atreides base.
- Judging will be based on creativity, originality, and how well your structure fits the chosen theme.
- Only the exterior of your building will be evaluated.
2. Contest Dates & Deadline
Here’s when you need to submit your entry:
- Start Date: July 14, 2025
- End Date: July 28, 2025, at 11:59pm CEST / 6:00pm EST
- Winners Announced: August 8, 2025
3. Prize Categories & Rewards
Funcom and Madrinas are offering high-value rewards for the most impressive builds. There are three main prize categories based on faction allegiance.
First Place – LEGO Royal Ornithopter
Three total winners (one per faction) will receive the highly detailed LEGO Dune Atreides Royal Ornithopter (valued at $164.99), along with the in-game Atreides Battle Rifle.

Runner-Ups – Collector’s Box
Six runner-up winners (two per faction) will receive the Dune: Awakening Collector’s Box from Madrinas (valued at $34.99), and the in-game Battle Rifle reward.

Honorable Mentions – In-Game Reward
Any number of entries can receive an honorable mention if they stand out for originality. These builders will receive the exclusive Atreides Battle Rifle bound to their Steam account.

4. How to Submit Your Entry
You can enter by sharing up to 20 screenshots or a video under 2 minutes on the following platforms. Each submission is only judged once, regardless of how many places it’s posted.
- Use the tags @duneawakening and #DuneAwakening in all posts.
- Platforms: Twitter (X), BlueSky, Instagram, TikTok
- Pimp My Dune: Submit on Lent’s “Pimp My Dune” site under the tag Building Contest. Video links can be included in descriptions.
Tips for Submitting
- Ensure good lighting if you record at night.
- Only the building’s exterior will be reviewed.
- Use Imgur or another image host if needed for additional photos.
5. Submission Rules & Eligibility
To keep the contest fair and enjoyable, all participants must follow these rules:
- No filters or image editing (text overlays, effects, etc.).
- Only one entry per participant.
- Max 20 images or 1 video under 2 minutes.
- You can use DLC and Twitch Drops in your build.
- You must submit your own original work.
- Entry must adhere to the code of conduct.
- Winners of physical prizes will need to share a valid shipping address. Some regions may be excluded due to shipping restrictions.
6. Terms, Conditions & Prize Value
Winners will be selected by the Funcom development team. All decisions are final, and winners will be posted on the Dune: Awakening official site and Steam news page.
- Prizes:
- LEGO Ornithopter – $164.99
- Collector’s Box – $34.99
- Legal: Participants must be of legal age in their country. Void where prohibited. Employees of Funcom or Madrinas cannot win.
- Privacy: Data will be handled under Funcom’s Privacy Policy and may be transferred to the U.S. Winners will need to fill out an affidavit of eligibility.
- Rights: By submitting an entry, you grant Funcom and its partners the right to use your build and name in promotional content without additional compensation.
