The game will be released on Steam this October, specifically on the 17th of October at 10am PDT. Ubisoft confirmed the news through an announcement post on Steam, which also included a launch Q&A. Assassin’s Creed Mirage coming to the store will not be the game’s first appearance on PC. Since its release last year, the game has been available on other platforms such as Epic Games Store.
In preparation for Assassin’s Creed Mirage‘s arrival, the game already has a store page on the platform. Through Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s Steam page, players can add the game to their wishlist as they await its arrival. The announcement says, “Experience the transformative story of Basim Ibn Ishaq, from defiant young man into a refined Master Assassin with a conflicted destiny, in this heartfelt homage to the original Assassin’s Creed game.” Even with Assassin’s Creed Mirage coming to Steam a year after its release, there is still the question of whether it’s a return to the roots of the series or not.
