ARC Raiders Update 1.23.0 Adds Vanguard Set and Fixes Close Scrutiny

Arc Raiders Update 1.23.0 brings targeted fixes across combat, maps, and AI systems while introducing the new Vanguard cosmetic set, with stability improvements shaping the post-Flashpoint experience.

Weekly updates in Arc Raiders continue to focus on stability, balance adjustments, and targeted bug fixes following larger content drops. While this patch is not content-heavy, it addresses several high-impact gameplay issues and refines multiple systems across combat, maps, and AI behavior.

The update also brings adjustments to the Close Scrutiny conditions introduced in the Flashpoint update, alongside multiple exploit and collision fixes across maps and encounters.

1. Vanguard Set – Outfit

The standout addition of this patch is the Vanguard Set, a premium cosmetic bundle introduced in the in-game store. The set includes a full tactical-themed outfit featuring armor pieces and attachments designed around a frontline aesthetic. Vanguard set is priced at 1,600 Raider Coins.

Vanguard Set includes three items, which can be bought separately as well: 

  • Craftsman Backpack
  • Vanguard Outfit
  • Vanguard Helmet (Scrappy)

2. Rampage Set – Raider Tool

Besides the brand new outfit, the latest patch also adds a new Raider Tool set called Rampage, which includes a new skin, Sledgehammer. It is designed as a dusty Sledgehammer, giving a fresh look to the tool. Ramapage set is priced at 800 Raider Coins.

3.1. ARC

ARC enemy audio behavior receives a small correction.

  • Fixed an issue that caused Rocketeers to use an incorrect combat alert sound.

3.2. Gameplay (Major Fixes)

Core combat and interaction systems receive stability and exploit corrections.

  • Fixed an issue where two Trigger ’Nades could deal triple damage when detonated near each other.
  • Fixed an issue preventing items from being used immediately when holding fire and swapping.
  • Fixed an issue where weapons and items could fire automatically.
  • Fixed a shoulder swap bug where the camera remained locked to one side.
  • Fixed an exploit allowing the Anvil Splitter to bypass dispersion penalties.
  • Barricades can no longer be placed on ziplines.

3.3. Maps (Stella Montis & Buried City Fixes)

Environmental and collision issues are corrected across multiple locations.

  • Fixed fire damage trigger outside a locked room in Medical Research on Stella Montis.
  • Fixed a location where players could be shot through the floor in Stella Montis.
  • Fixed missing staircases in Buried City.
  • Fixed interaction failures with the Code Printer during Locked Gate events.

Assessor encounters and ARC behavior receive multiple corrections.

  • Adjusted Rocketeer and Vaporizer movement speeds to stabilize idle behavior.
  • Fixed reconnected players not seeing Assessor platforms correctly.
  • Fixed Vaporizers getting stuck near Assessors.
  • Fixed Assessor failing to return to orbit in certain cases.
  • Fixed breach platform issues caused by rapid input spam during Assessor interactions.
  • All ARC units spawned by Assessors now despawn correctly when idle for too long.
  • Fixed incorrect Assessor ping locations on the map.
  • Fixed player stalling when jumping between Assessor platforms.
  • Fixed landing overlap where an Assessor and Probe could spawn in the same area in Buried City.

3.5. UI & Crash Fixes

UI clarity and performance stability improvements.

  • Fixed incorrect weapon upgrade tier display in the UI.
  • Fixed fully transparent helmet visor rendering bug.
  • Fixed multiple visual effects that could trigger crashes.
