Animula Nook Alpha Test Now Open for Signing Up

The sign up for the Alpha Test of Animula Nook, a cozy life sim adventure game, is now available. This early version of Animula Nook will be free of optional purchases in-game and will allow players to try out the game well before its eventual release, which has yet to been given an official release date. Everything You Need to Know Before Applying

Before you get too excited signing up to the Alpha Test of Animula Nook, there is some important information you need to be aware of. Otherwise, even if you get accepted to play, you may not be able to access the Alpha Test.

• The Alpha Test is available on PC via Steam only.
• You will need a Facebook or Google account to log in with to access the Animula Nook Alpha Test.
• If you previously registered via Apple or X, you must log in again using a Google or Facebook account. You’ll then need to reconfirm your pre-registration and fill in the survey. 
• Your account will be tied to the very first device you used to log in with. Plan beforehand what device you wish to play Animula Nook Alpha Test on.
• You will not be able to unbind or switch the device you’re playing Animula Nook on.
• If you experience issues logging in, it may be the device you’re using isn’t the one you used to register with. You’ll need to switch to that one.
• For security, do not trust information about account sharing, trading, or test installer sales.
• Your device will need to meet the minimum required spec to play Animula Nook. More information further below.

The Alpha Test is only available on Steam via PC, but the full release will be available on other platforms.

• Sign-up start time is from February 4, 2026 at 10.30 (UTC+8)
• You can sign up to the Animula Nook Alpha Test from the official website.

• The supported languages for the Alpha Test are English, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.
• Participation is limited to a fixed number of players.
• No in-game purchases will be available during the Alpha Test.
• All game data (accounts, characters, progress, and items) will be wiped at the end of the Alpha Test.

Be aware that everything you do during the Alpha Test of Animula Nook will be wiped at the end.

Spec Requirements for Animula Nook Alpha Test

For Animula Nook to work on your PC, make sure you have the minimum specs at best, if not recommended. Having a PC below these specs may result in performance issues or even failure to launch the game.

As the performance optimization and compatibility of Animula Nook is still work-in-progress, these may not be the same specs for the final full release of the game. These are specifically for the Alpha Test.

If you want to find out if your CPU and GPU are compatible to play Animula Nook, follow these steps.

For the CPU:

1. Right-click the Start button.
2. Select Device Manager.
3. Click Processors.
4. View the specific CPU model

For the GPU:

1. Right-click the Start button.
2. Select Device Manager.
3. Click Display adapters.
4. View the specific graphics card model.

How to Get Access to the Animula Nook Alpha Test

If you want to play the Alpha Test of Animula Nook, there are three methods available: sign up on the official website, join community events, and apply as a content creator.

Sign Up via the Animula Nook Official Website

This is the main method for signing up for the Alpha Test. You need to:

1. Head to the Animula Nook official website.
2. Log in with your Google or Facebook account.
3. Pre-register.
4. Fill in the recruitment survey.

A portion of players will be selected who filled in for pre-registration and completed valid surveys.

Make sure that your email, Discord UID, and Discord Username are up-to-date and correct so you can receive an invitation to the Alpha Test if your application is successful. 

Signing up via the official Animula Nook website is the best way to go, but there are other methods, too.

Join Community Events

Check out the official Animula Nook channels via Discord and X for potential giveaway events to get your chance to take part in the Alpha Test. Also, active engagement in the community may lead to dropped test slots.

Apply as a Content Creator

If you are a content creator under one of the titles below, you can apply for the Animula Nook Global Creator Party to sign up for dedicated creator slots. If your application is approved, an email will be sent to you.

To be a content creator, you can fall under examples of the titles below:

• Streamer
• VTuber
• Artist
• Guide Writer

If you are a content creator, you can sign up to a dedicated creator party to get your hands on the game and share your experience with others.

How Test Access Is Checked and Granted

After going through the process of registering, if you’ve been successfully selected, the following will happen:

• An email will be sent to your submitted address via your application, containing a Steam key. Check your Spam and Promotions sections to ensure you don’t miss it. 
• After granting access, an Eligibility Check Page will become available. You’ll need to log in via your Google or Facebook account.
• To redeem your key for the Alpha Test, you can enter the code provided in the email via Steam. The game will then be added to your library.

• You only need to submit an application once. If you try to do it multiple times, only your most recent application will be considered.
