Counter-Strike 2 statistics consistently show Mirage is one of, if not the, most popular CS2 map. Mirage is often included in Counter-Strike Major Championships and is one of the most widely played maps for ranked Premier matches. This map is not as iconic as Dust 2, but players love it almost as much. So, it’s not surprising numerous player-created Mirage map variations are available in Counter-Strike 2’s workshop. These are some of the more notable CS2 Mirage map variations you can add to Counter-Strike 2.

De_Big_Mirage
NadeKing’s De_Big_Mirage is a Mirage map that’s twice as big as the standard one. This is because the map includes terrorists and counter-terrorists shrank to about half the size they usually are. Consequently, walls, doors, crates, vehicles, and everything else in CS2 Mirage are somewhat bigger than usual. This map also includes a few additional props to help players get up the crates they can usually jump on in the regular Mirage. You can see what De_Big_Mirage looks like in the YouTube video for that map below.
Mirage Mirror
The CS2 Mirage mirror map is an inverted variation of the standard map. It swamps the right and left sides of the standard Mirage map around. Thus, terrorists move left to approach bombsite B and right to plant the bomb at A. Many players seem to like this back-to-front layout as thousands rate Mirage Mirror as a five-star map.
Mini Mirage
Mini Mirage is a shrunken variation of the CS2 Mirage map. Everything on this Mirage map variation, with the exceptions of terrorists and counter-terrorists, is smaller than it usually is. Consequently, you can walk around the map much more quickly with less room to maneuver. This map is too small for teams of five or even four, but it’s suitable for Wingman matches, albeit with two bombsites rather than one.
Free Mirage
The Free Mirage map is one for which the creator has removed all clip brushes. This means you can climb up wall ladders to take to the rooftops of Free Mirage. Some extra props enable players to move onto and across roofs in Free Mirage. The freedom to climb onto roofs allows players to shoot from much more elevated positions than they can on the standard CS2 Mirage map. Such freedom adds an extra dimension to the strategic gameplay on this map.
De_Mirage_Water
Do you fancy getting your feet wet when playing Mirage? If you do, De_Mirage_Water is certainly the CS2 Mirage map variation for you! This is a half-flooded variation of the Mirage map that includes shallow and deep water areas for players to traipse through. You can walk completely underwater in the deeper areas of this map without drowning. The map also includes floating hens, watermelons, and life rings floating in the water.
De_Mirage_Catslap
De_Mirage_Catslap is a reworked version of the CS2 Mirage map. It is a reworked map with noticeable differences, such as a closed-off sniper nest, tunnel, and connector point between A and B that effectively make the sniping mid-point of the map a dead end. However, this map variation also includes entirely new doors and entryways that aren’t in the standard Mirage. It’s a big change from the original Mirage map players may or may not love. The De_Mirage_Catslap video below explains and shows its changes in more detail.
De_All_Maps_in_One
De_All_Maps_in_One is another of NadeKing’s groovy CS2 Mirage variations that mixes most of the standard Counter-Strike 2 maps into one. This map includes the architectural styles from Overpass, Dust 2, Office, Ancient, Vertigo Anubis, Italy, and Nuke along with some secret rooms and easter eggs. However, this is still Mirage because it retains the layout from that map, albeit combined with the variable design styles of others. So, this Mirage map enables you to play many of the others at the same time.
Mirage Night
Mirage Night is one of the numerous standard map night variations available for download in the Counter-Strike 2 workshop. The primary difference this map offers is its dark, night setting. Playing in a night setting doesn’t affect the gameplay much as this map is well-illuminated with Medieval-style wall sconces. Some players prefer night maps because of their lighting and shadow effects that give them a little more graphical pizzazz.
