Office is one of the oldest Counter-Strike maps that has been a part of the series since 2000. This is primarily an indoor map with a winter setting in which counter-terrorists infiltrate a 52375 office building via its windows or stairs to rescue hostages. It remains the official Hostage Rescue map in Counter-Strike 2. However, there are also numerous variations of the Office map you can download from CS2’s Maps Workshop. These are some CS2 office map variations you can add to Counter-Strike 2.

Chrome Office
Chrome Office is a CS2 Office map variation with an overhauled aesthetic design. This map variation has a shiny, metallic Chrome design style that gives it a very different look. Although this map’s layout is the same as the standard Office, it looks very different with its smooth, reflective surfaces. It’s a new-look Office with some groovy surface light effects you don’t get on the standard map alternative.
CS Office 1.6
If you want a blast from the past, check out the CS Office 1.6 map. This CS2 Office variation is a port of the original Office map from Counter-Strike 1.6. Playing on this map is like stepping into a time machine. You’ll immediately notice a difference in graphical quality and style when you enter CS Office 1.6. This map also retains the sound effects from the original, making it a truly authentic port of Office from CS 1.6.
Office No Snow
Office has always been a map where counter-terrorists traipse through the outdoor snow. However, this is not the case in the Office No Snow map, which has a completely snow-free environment. The sun is shining on a warm summer’s day in this CS2 Office map, which affects the lighting conditions within the building. This map’s office building has a slightly modified interior design with striped green wallpaper and carpets.
Office Mirror
Office Mirror is a map variation that gives a fresh experience by swapping left and right around. This means everything is in the opposite direction than on the standard Office map. All text on the walls of this CS2 Office map is backward. The mirroring effect considerably alters the basic layout of the Office map, which slightly changes the gameplay.
CS Office From CS:S
CS Office From CS:S is a ported version of the Office map from Counter-Strike: Source. It is a CS2 Office map variation with a noticeably different graphical style. This map’s green radar also looks different. You’ll notice that the large windows on this map don’t have any glass. This means counter-terrorists don’t need to shoot through any glass to enter the building, allowing for a more stealthy approach.
CSGO_Office_Night
The CSGO_Office_Night CS2 Office map variation is one with a nighttime setting. Playing at night makes the map considerably darker outside and also affects indoor lighting conditions as the building isn’t fully lit. Another notable difference is that this is the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive version of Office with textures and props from CS:GO. CSGO_Office_Night’s creator has also added extra physics effects to objects on the map.
AWP Office
AWP Office is a big variation from the standard CS2 Office that noticeably changes the map’s layout and game mode. This is a sniper version of the map in which teams shoot it out with equipped AWPs to win rounds rather than rescue or defend hostages. It includes a more expansive outdoor area for sniping than the standard Office map. However, players can also take the fight into the office building, which has a modified layout. This is a great CS2 Office variation for sniping frolics, but you can’t play Hostage Rescue on it.
So, check out those CS2 Office variations if you’re bored with the Office map included in Counter-Strike 2. You can add them to Counter-Strike 2 by opening the linked map pages above and clicking Subscribe. Then start CS2 and click Play > Workshop Maps to select one of the new Office maps to play against bots and invited human opponents.
