With the arrival of the Switch 2 and another Direct around the corner, it’s normal for releases for the current console to become less frequent. However, many were hoping for one last big surprise to send it off in style, which did not happen.

Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake

The event began with a trailer for Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake, where the reimagined environments of these classic RPGs using the HD-2D technique were showcased. Additionally, although the visual aspect is impressive and respects the essence of the originals, the release date remains unconfirmed, with a launch window in 2025.

The first-person shooter from the creator of Rick and Morty will be coming to Nintendo Switch. With its characteristic irreverent humor and talking weapons, the game will offer a chaotic experience on the Nintendo hybrid. It will premiere on May 19, 2025.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion

The March 27 Nintendo Direct left a mix of opinions. Although there were interesting announcements, many were hoping for a big farewell surprise for the original Switch. Instead, already known titles were presented and, in some cases, without a concrete release date, such as Metroid Prime 4.
