Monster Hunter Wilds Lowers Arena Quests Difficulty and Hunts Down Cheaters

Monster Hunter Wilds introduced Arena Quests along with The Grand Hub in its first free update. However, obtaining some of the rewards offered by this new mode required a great deal of dedication. Completing certain challenges with the necessary requirements was no easy task. Fortunately, Capcom has decided to make a significant change that will put these rewards within reach of all players.

Specifically, we are referring to the quest “Doshaguma of the Hollow,” which previously required finishing with a ranking time among the top 10,000 to unlock the Mark of Mastery pendant. Although at first it did not seem so complicated, as time passed and records improved, achieving this position became increasingly difficult.

For this reason, Capcom announced that they will completely remove this requirement. Now, to obtain the Challenge Pendants, it will no longer be necessary to reach a top position within the ranking. Additionally, they confirmed that no future Challenge Quest—neither Standard nor Free—will ever again require a top ranking to grant rewards.

The company also took advantage of the announcement to share that they are carefully reviewing the leaderboards, focusing on entries with suspiciously low times. They are looking for possible cheating or system errors in the Arena Quests in Monster Hunter Wilds. If they detect any irregularities, they will remove those entries from the ranking.

Lastly, Capcom explained that it will take between one and two weeks to review the final rankings once the availability period for each quest ends. The rewards for these quests will be distributed after that period, thus ensuring that only legitimate achievements are rewarded.

What do you think about the change in the Arena Quests in Monster Hunter Wilds? Have you already gotten your pendant? Let us know in the comments.
